FAQ's

Q: What kind of matcha does this clay mask contain?
We use the culinary grade matcha powder from japan, i.e not extract, since culinary grade has wider applications in brewing and mixing with other ingredients.

Q: What skin type does this clay mask suit?
The matcha detox clay mask suits all skin types, however it is highly effective on oily and acne prone skin.

Q: Can this be used on toddlers/baby skin?
This is not ideal for toddlers/ baby skin. We recommend using the product once you enter your teens.

Q: Can my teenager use this?
They sure can! In fact, we highly recommend it for teen skin as it’s gentle and effective.

Q: Are your products all-natural/organic?
While we aim for our products to be as natural as possible, it is far more important that the ingredients in them be effective and safe for your body and skin. Plenty of natural ingredients are irritating, so we consistently formulate our products with soothing, low-hazard ingredients — regardless of their natural or synthetic status.

Q: Why has the color of the product changed over time?
Matcha has the tendency to oxidise with time, exposure to light and air. However it does not impact the effectiveness of the product throughout its shelf life.

Q: How long is the shelf life of the product?
The product has a shelf life of 2 years. Expiry date is mentioned on the bottom of your container.

Q: Will it dry my skin?
The matcha detox clay mask is a velvet consistency clay. It’s a non drying formula which deeply exfoliates and nourishes with a mix of matcha and french green clay.

Q: Does this clay mask fall into a skincare routine?
It’s essential to cleanse before clay mask so ideally use the matcha foaming face cleanser and follow it up with an optional toning. After a clay mask application, remember to hydrate your skin with the ultra light matcha gel!

Q: Will there be more products in the range?
Our goal will never be to have the widest collection. We simply want to create products that have personality and purpose, and are blended with ingredients that your skin really deserves and craves. Only when we’ve met these criteria and found a true need will we be releasing more products.
