- 1 ripe banana (best if frozen)
- 150 ml almond milk*
- 1 cup warm water
- 1 teaspoon chia seeds
- 2-3 gm Matcha powder
- Honey/ sugar/ sweetener of choice
- 4-5 cubes of ice
*We used almond milk but you could also use coconut, oat, soy or whole milk
- Add 2-3 gm of matcha into a glass.
- Pour 20-30 ml of warm water and whisk into a smooth dark green paste, make sure no lumps remain.
- Add the frozen ripe banana and chia seeds to the blender.
- Now add your sweetener of choice.
- We used almond milk for this recipe but you can use any milk as per your preference.
- Blend all the ingredients together.
- You're good to go! Pour the smoothie into a glass.
